WARRANTY POLICY

FLYBYFLY Warranty Programme Information

Our standard warranty covers from the date on the Purchase Invoice or Delivery Order (Date of Shipment) from authorized FLYBYFLY retailer. Please note, this warranty does not cover transportation or installation costs. Depending on availability, FLYBYFLY products will either be repaired or replaced at our discretion.

Warranty Coverage:

FLYBYFLY guarantees that our products and accessories are suitable for their intended use when assembled according to the manufacturer’s instructions. We also warrant that the product corresponds to its description in our various printed or digital materials. FLYBYFLY assures that all products undergo stringent quality control checks before leaving the factory and do not have any defects in workmanship or hidden defects.

What Our Warranty Covers:

Note that the FLYBYFLY warranty is non-transferable from the original owner. Standard warranty is 6 months. 

What Is Not Covered by the Warranty:

a. Our warranty excludes the following:

  • Damage caused by improper storage or installation (failure to follow assembly instructions).
  • Negligent misuse or alterations not intended by the manufacturer.
  • Natural disasters, accidents, falls, impacts, light discoloration, burns, excessive heat, humidity, or insect damage.
  • Natural variations between components.
  • Modifications, repairs, or additions made by the customer or an unauthorized third party.
  • Products used for professional or commercial purposes.
  • Items purchased second-hand, including floor models.
  • Alterations made by unauthorized repair personnel.
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Failure to maintain the product as advised in the user instructions
  • Accidental or wilful damage
  • Repair or modification carried out by a non-approved retailer
  • The use on non-genuine FLYBYFLY spare parts or accessories
  • Child outgrowing the product or change of mind
  • Damage to wheels and fabrics caused in use

b. Paint Finish:

  • Normal wear and tear of the product.
  • Peeling, blistering, or discoloration due to normal wear and tear.
  • Damage caused by accidental or intentional physical impact (e.g., chipping, denting, or scratching)

c. Castor Warranty: 

  • The warranty for castors on baby cots is valid for 6 months only.

d. Musical Instrument and Toys Warranty: 

  • The warranty for musical instrument is valid for 3 months only.

Please note that as our products are handcrafted, minor stitching or manufacturing variations may occur. While we guarantee the quality of our items, an exact match between pieces from different orders cannot be guaranteed.

How to Make a Warranty Claim:

To initiate a warranty claim, please provide the following documents:

  • A copy of your Delivery Order and Purchase Invoice or Receipt.
  • Photos of the defect in question.

In some cases, FLYBYFLY may engage an internal or external expert to inspect the defect and determine its cause. Based on the findings, we may offer a replacement for specific components or the entire product if a repair is not feasible. If necessary, we may propose equivalent components or models based on availability.

What to do in case of defect?

In the first instance, please return to the retailer from where the product was purchased. You will also need to include your proof of purchase (sales receipt). If the product is found to be defective, FLYBYFLY at discretion may provide a spare part, conduct a repair or exchange the product. If a spare part is required and the original colour/pattern is not available, an alternative colour/pattern will be used.
